Machine polishing that reduces swirl marks and light imperfections and brings back gloss, before your paint is protected with ceramic coating.
If your paint looks hazy in the sun, or you see fine circular scratches under a light, that's usually swirl marks and light defects in the clear coat. Washing alone won't remove them.
Paint correction uses a machine polisher and polish to level out those defects, bringing back gloss and depth. It's different from wax or sealant, which add a layer on top. Correction improves the paint surface itself.
At Detail Guyz we offer two levels of polishing: Paint Enhancement and 1-Step Paint Correction. Both are offered with our ceramic coating packages, so the finish is protected once it's corrected.
Detail Guyz is a mobile detailer based in nearby Manteca, and we come to Stockton, Lathrop, Tracy, Ripon, Modesto and the rest of our service area. We offer Paint Enhancement and 1-Step Paint Correction, done at your location as part of our ceramic coating service.
Clay decontamination comes before polishing. It removes bonded contaminants so the polisher works on clean paint.
Light machine polishing to improve gloss and paint clarity before coating.
More intensive polishing to reduce light imperfections and improve gloss before coating.

The vehicle is washed by hand to remove loose dirt so nothing gets dragged across the paint.
Products dissolve iron particles and grime that a normal wash leaves behind.
A clay bar removes bonded contaminants so the paint is smooth before polishing.
The paint is polished to improve gloss (Enhancement) or reduce light defects (1-Step Correction).
The coating is applied to the freshly polished paint to protect the result.
We look the vehicle over before we finish, and you inspect it too.
We're based in Manteca and do paint correction throughout Manteca, Lathrop, Tracy, Ripon and Modesto, plus Stockton, Mountain House and other parts of the 209. You don't need to drop the car off or wait in a lobby. Most customers are at home or at work while we're detailing.
Strong sun, dust, and frequent washing to keep up with it all take a toll on clear coat. Automatic brush washes are one of the most common causes of swirl marks. Once the paint is polished and coated, gentle hand washing helps keep it looking that way.
